Apprenticeship lead generation
The apprenticeship lead generation problem, solved. We reach the employer decision makers who take on apprentices, book the meetings, and give your BDMs a plan instead of a map and a fuel card.
The apprenticeship lead generation paradox
Apprenticeship lead generation is a problem we've been working on for a long time. Most providers still tackle it the old way: put BDMs in a car with an expenses card and a run of hotel bookings, and send them round the country hoping to find employers ready to take on an apprentice. They drive blind, get stuck at reception and rarely reach the person who makes the decision.
We've built a better way in. Our apprenticeship campaigns use AI to find and reach the actual decision makers at the right employers, sector by sector and region by region, and turn their replies into booked meetings.
Your BDMs stop driving round blind. Not every interested employer signs up straight away. The ones who don't become a map of warm prospects your BDMs can plan their week around: clusters of interested employers in the same area, covered in one trip and one hotel stay. Those employers have already engaged with you, so your BDM gets past reception and talks to the decision maker. That adds to your conversion rate instead of starting from cold.
How it works
Pick standards and regions
We agree which apprenticeship standards you need employers for, which sectors and which areas you cover.
Find the decision makers
We use AI to research the right employers and the person who actually decides, and verify every email address before anything is sent.
Write for each sector
Each sector gets its own campaign and messages, written around the problems those employers actually have.
Book the meetings
Replies are picked up fast, with the AI BDM available to qualify interest and book meetings straight into your team's diary.
Hand your BDMs a plan
Every positive reply that isn't ready yet goes on a list your BDMs can plan visits around, grouped by area.
Employers we reach
Results
Apprenticeship campaigns to employers across gas, plumbing, electrical and renewables.
209 employers replied and 79 wanted to talk about taking on apprentices. Beyond the employers who have already signed up, the rest gave the provider's BDMs a ready-made list of warm employers to visit, so they plan their week around real interest instead of driving round blind.
Questions
How long before we see results?
We spend the first two weeks warming up the sending accounts, then ramp up sending over the next two. Month two is full pace, which is why we judge apprenticeship campaigns over at least two months. Replies can start as soon as sending begins: one provider's first plumbing apprenticeship campaign brought in around ten leads on its first day of sending.
What happens to employers who are interested but not ready?
They go on a list for your BDMs, grouped by area, so your team can plan visits around clusters of warm employers. Because those employers have already engaged with you, your BDM gets past reception and talks to the decision maker.
Which apprenticeship standards can you find employers for?
Trades such as gas, plumbing, electrical, renewables and construction work very well, and so do broader standards like business administration, digital marketing and HR, where almost any employer is a potential fit.
Is emailing employers allowed under UK rules?
Yes, with conditions. Under PECR you can send marketing emails to corporate subscribers such as limited companies and LLPs, as long as you identify yourself and include a clear way to opt out. Sole traders and some partnerships are treated like individuals and need extra care. We build campaigns with this in mind and we're registered with the ICO.
Is it pay per lead?
No. Apprenticeship campaigns run as a monthly programme. It covers research, list building, writing, sending, handling replies and booking meetings.
Can you find employers for funded staff training too?
Yes. We can run campaigns for apprenticeship placements, for funded staff training, or both, with different messages for each.
